Pythagoras was a Greek philosopher who made important developments in Mathematics, Astronomy, and the theory of Music. This theorem now known as “Pythagoras’s Theorem” . He concluded that mathematics and music were interconnected & that knowledge of one area led to an understanding of the other, according to the “University of Connecticut”. He also believed that music had healing properties &Â would often play his lyre for the sick and dying.
