Yo-Yo was born in 1955yr to Chinese parents living in Paris France. Yo Yo began to study the cello with his father at age 4 and 3 years later moved with his family to New York City, where YoYo continued his cello studies at the School (Juilliard) before pursuing a liberal arts education at Harvard University.
