Watchman Nee was born on 4th November 1903yr, the 3rd of 9 children of Ni Weng-Hsiu, a well–respected officer in the Imperial Customs Service & who excelled as a child at an American-staffed Methodist mission school. Nee’s grandfather was a gifted Anglican preacher.
