Jackson Pollock was born on 28th January 1912yr in Cody, Wyoming. Pollock grew up in Arizona and California & in 1928yr began to study painting at the Manual Arts High School, Los Angeles US. In fall 1930yr Pollock moved to New York city and studied under Thomas Hart Benton at the Art Students League.
