Meghnad Saha was born on 6th October 1893yr and died on 16th February 1956yr, was an Indian astrophysicist who helped devise the theory of “thermal ionisation”. Saha”s ionisation equation allowed astronomers to accurately relate the spectral classes of stars to their actual temperatures. Saha was also elected to the Parliament of India in 1952yr.
