Lord Rama is the 7th avatar of Lord Vishnu,and before he incarnates, vishnu is in heaven, Lakshmi, Vishnu’s wife,Laxmi also incarnates as Sita, alongside Vishnu when he incarnates… Vishnu & Lakshmi are in heaven and they see the world overrun with demons (Rakkash)… Vishnu and Lakshmi become Lord Rama and Sita on Earth.
