A sports person skilled at the game of basketball & one who plays the sport as a professional is called a Basketball player. It is a game played between two teams of 5 players each on a rectangular court. The players attempt to throw a ball through an elevated basket mounted to a backboard at each end of the court. Players move the ball by dribbling or throwing the ball while walking or running.
